Taiwan 2010

I'm going to 台湾!!!
So happy..终于还是依原本计划进行！！
超开心及辛奋的!!!

Welcoming Chinese (TIGER) New Year!

Its the 4th, nope already the 5th day of CNY!!~~~ time passes so fast!

To think i was still very happy preparing and awaiting for new year day to arrive..haha

Reunion dinner as usual, at ah Gong's plc..used to calling it this way already though ah Gong already in heaven..

Was at my fren's plc the nite before, recalling y..

oh ya, went JP and stayed at Starbuck till 12mn+!

then i took the wheels and brought them all home..one by one..den me n mimi lim..heh

my mama woke me up early in e morning, 8am + i tink..

she told me we need to go off at 1030am!!

i took off fr her plc arnd 9am +..and ended up, i forgotten my mama has got rubber timing too..we reached ah Gong's plc oni arnd 12+..haha

stayed till 2pm+ den i had my 1st meal of the day, with my uncles and 2nd auntie.

not too bad...nothin surprising this yr..haha

Spent the nite at home w my family, happy that we are all together..love the warmth..

it'll be even better if my fren is arnd.. :D

But am happie to get my angbaos fr mama and papa, and of cos their blessings..hee..^

Day 1

woke up quite early tdy..getting all excited to start the day..heh

had a very gd slp, and woke up feelin happy and lucky!

haha.,.did i say lucky?yes..n i thought of this CNY game which i came up myself and played w my fren..we have to tink of 4 chines words, cheng yu and whoever say it, earns $1!! haha..not bad..for a start, but towards the end, i'm left w jus my pants on me..hhahaahaLOL!!

Its Valentine day as well..and as usual, my sweetest fren cum sis will not let me feel lonely..

we watched Valentine Day on that day, w Ber,Sol and Mary..

its a nice movie, sweet..

I was dressed in rocker style..red singlet,long black vest and black leather bag..ha!

Day 2

i reached home quite late, cos yest nite after movie at CCK, we went to CoffeeBean at RailMall to yak yak abit..hee

Slept till 12plus though, got all ready, dressed, den my uncles said they are not comin, so i rested at home, napped again till 5pm.

My fren came over to fetch me, to have dinner at Swensen/IMM, den heads toward KTV-Partyworld!!

Just the 2 of us!! whooT~ i thought, we wont stay till all 4hrs..hah

im so WRONG la!! haha..not enough time actually!!!!

We sang alot of songs...AMIT's songs, SHE's, Tanya's for fren, Rainie's for me...

We got so HOT singing AMIT's new songs that we stood on the sofa and sang real LOUD, Offskeys..who CARES!! hahah..

We are so ENJOYING ourselves can?! haha..and she is like my IDOL!! I'm attending my fren's concert!! whee~~

Day 3

Stayed over at fren's plc, so morning i was greeted by alot alot of her relatives (mother side).!

Whee..took a few ang baos..hahah!

Went to Sunset Way, den to Holland V in hope of getting Daily Scoop's ice cream but in the end, we bought Venecia from 6th Avenue..

Sol had a small party/gathering for us all at her plc..she cooked pasta, and a few other stuffs which is not bad..

at least she can cook, i cant.. :S

Stayed till 8pm cos we watched a movie - The Blindside,,nice movie too!

Afterwhich, we went to fren's plc again for the New Year goodies!! yummy yum!!

Day 4

Back to reality,,work~ :(

strange the road was real empty..guess alot of pple still on leave..shiok for them..

i worked like hell manz..unhappy la.

but nite time i still managed to go off at 6.15pm, took 502 to IMM and as the roads are kinda clear, it took jus 30mins for me to reach IMM! which is arnd 650pm..RECORD!!!

haha..happy,,but dunno y not much appetite, ate abit oni at Iciban.. :S

Went to fren's plc after bringing Ber home and pumping fuel..

her Winnie auntie is there,,,i got myself another Ang Bao!

hahah..

Big News..!! **Cant tell**

But i feel and felt happy, cos im part of the family..part of her family..

Yest nite before i slept, i jus flicked thru my calendar in search of when i got to be part of her family..the day is 18/11/07. happie~

Tink she is troubled over Ber's troubling words as well..

hope the 'clouds' will clear soon and rainbow will start revealing itself!!

Yawn~~ tired after the whole day..started too early for me le..

BKK Trip 100110-130110

Back from my BKK trip again for year 2010!
It's definately a GREAT way to start off a New Year! hee..
We seems to be going back BKK every 9mths.. I'm so not gonna stop this trend of ours!!
This time round though there's no riots, but we only spent 4days there.. (kinda short)
NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!!!!!~~~~

Arghh...nex time we shld plan a longer trip if we wana go there shop. hee.~~
but we have bigger plans this time round...hopefully the next trip to BKK, we can roll out our plan!
It gonna be a successful plan!! Jia You my fren!! n me of cos! hee..

Napped for 1 hr, shiok, shuang~, den went to fren's plc for gift exchange around 6pm..

Updates

It seems like i have been MIA for quite some time here..heehee..
Kept buzy w alot of stuffs actually..

After Ber's dad passed away shortly after we came back from our yearly BKK trip, i have been keeping my fren company during weekends.
That's bcos Ber is not supposed to go to anyone's house/home for next 100days..

Well, i tried to keep my wkends off, so that i can dawn over at her plc.
We did alot of things, watch alot of movies, dramas, played games, PSP blah blah blah..

Seems like there is not enough time for us to still haha..

Gotta very demoralised over work recently as well..for both fren and me..

Her: Bosses dun seems to appreciate her effort and capability..dissappointments everywhere and like everyday for her.. *jeez..**

Me: Just very sick of work, and my officer S****Y.
Dunno y, sometimes jus feel like she is getting on my nerves.!! well, maybe she feels the same way towards me too..hahah LOL*

I actually applied for alot of positions within HSBC during this period of time..
1st: PCM Client Service Assistant Manager
2nd: Offshore Client Service Associate
3rd: Onshore Premier Service Manager

Went for all 3 interviews.
1st one's out, 2nd and 3rd, praying i'll stand abit of chance..pls pls..
but on the other hand, shucks, cos i'll b getting a $500 paycut!! *sob sob*

Dilemna!!! somebody help me!!
But i tink i shldn't be shortsighted...mus tink far and look at the whole picture..
i need progression!! mus get out of HSBC CCTR soon!!! by tis yr..yes by THIS YEAR!!
This shall b my aim! **JIA YOU**!!

Aim for my fren: before National Day 9 Aug 09, she mus send resumes, go for interviews test market and find a chance to speak to her big boss S****N
She mus do something inorder to have a firm decision soon..cant drag any longer le..!

Bangkok 6D5N trip 100409 - 150409

We are back from our 6D 5N bangkok trip!!
Alot of things to write..dunno where to start..

On the day before our departure, we heard news fr TV and all media sources that the demonstration in Bangkok were getting pretty bad..Ber and Fren's boss even called their colleagues in Bangkok and were warned nt to go.. Shirin commented we are three idiots preparing to come back with one leg and one hand..woah and ouch~that realli is too much lor.. We knew they were just being concern of our safety, but, no cursings plz.. We were undaunted/bothered by it and proceeded with our plan.. happy*

1st day, Home, Fren's house, Ber's place, Airport
Fried carrot cakes fr coffeeshop, Sakae and GoGo sausages fr Terminal 1, Fishball noodles fr roadside stall
Everything went well on the actual day, except that it rained real heavily on our way to the Airport.. By the time we reached BKK, it was already 10pm +.We went for late supper at the fishball noodle stall near our hotel (Eastin Makkasan) that nite..yummy~~ Yeah!! finally we are back in BKK!!whoo hoo!!!!!

2nd day, Platinum Mall, Central World-Coca, Big C, Hotel
Buffet breakfast in Hotel, Coffee and Donuts, Chicken Wing fr roadside, Coca, toasts and meiji (milk/yakault) fr 7-eleven
The next day, it actually rained quite heavily. Can't believe it..it's April and in BKK and it's raining cats and dogs!~ wth?!?
We gotta change our plan cos of the rain..so we went to Platinum Mall that day instead of Chatuchak..
Well i thought this time round, i will be doing more of window shoppin but hell, i spent jus as much lo!! hahah..
Just cant resist to the temptation to shop, shop and SHOP!!hahaha
We had fun of cos..with loads of stuffs on hand..and we headed to our long awaited COCA for dinner..Guess what, we found the auntie stall that sell Chicken Wing@!!
However a pity, we bought just 1 piece each for ourselves..not enough!!! Chicky Wing, u r greatly missed by us all..at least i know u r missed by Fren..heh*

Gave Fren a surprise by giving her the key chain..hee..
i bet u r really abit surprised cos u din expect to receive any gift then rite fren?hee..

We took a cab to Chatuchak..woah, pple already starting to spray water le!!
kena sprayed alot of times..suai or blessed??ahahaha...
Weather damn hot lar..but shiok~
Went to MBK to meet Ber's fren Eileen and cousins for dinner..
Initially we planned to go Pratunam Night market after dinner, but sadded~cos of riots, we were told that place was closed..
Went back hotel to rest early..aawwww..disappointments.. :(

4th day, Songkran. Erawan Shrine, Robinson, MBK, Hotel
Macdonald, KFC, Phay thay,fried rice, toast etc fr roadside near Hotel and 7-eleven
The moment we set off in a TukTuk, we kena 'Blessed' w big pool of water manz..
their water is damn cold lo!!shiok!!! real drenched by head to top..hahaha
However today's BKK is abit different fr usual..the whole area near Central World is closed for the day, the roads are quiet w v few pple and cars..
We took train to Robinson, *boring place*, kena alot of water and flour..(pity never take any picture of myself w the 大花猫脸), den to MBK to shop..
even though we din get to go Central World-Isetan and Naraya as planned, we still managed to buy alot of stuffs fr MBK..we jus can shop can??hahah

5th day, Pratunam Day Market, Central World - Naraya, Zen, Big C, Hotel
lunch fr Black Canyon coffee cafe, donuts, Aunt Anne, KFC, titbits
Pratunam market is open!! but alot of stalls not avail..however nonetheless, we bought alot of stuffs lo!! and we had donuts..hee..
Afterwhich we still don't believe Central World is closed for the day again, so we retracked back there and to our surprise, hee, Naraya is filled w tourists lo..hahaha
We managed to get our bras from Zen..lucky us that besides Isetan, they have got another departmental store in Central World..heheh

6th day, Platinum Mall, Hotel, Airport
Foodcourt,Swensen,Western Food in Airport
Last day in Bangkok le..still got lots of shopping to do..especially for Ber..
We woke up early to check out today, den we head straight to Platinum Mall to do last min shopping..
Bought alot of stuffs..walked till back like breaking lor..hahah
But still, we had lotsa fun!!
Dunno m i suai or wat,...or should i say i'm the luckiest among all 3..
I got splashed by a bucket of water again (by a passing lorry) just when i was about to board the cab..Drenched fr head to toe..least expected that manz..arghh!!!
We reached far earlier than expected in airport..lobo for a few hrs before we finally got on our flight back to SG..
So fast and our holiday is coming to an end le..sigh~

It was overall a very fun trip..heh.
My Fren planning to go another time w me..maybe we can consider realli looking around for nice clothings to sell in SG the next time round we go back BKK again..

By the time we reach SG, it was already past midnight..gg to Fren's house to stay for the night..
Papa and Mama jus came back from their 7D trips Korea on same day too..
Everything went smoothly, for me and for Fren..but not so for Ber..

Shall update u guys more on the bad news for Ber and of cos us in the next entry..

A year past just like this, so fast..

Spent my X-Mas at fren's place, together with Ber..

Guess what i've got for X-mas from them? It's really a surprised..haha!

We went shopping a week before X-Mas together.

She asked if one of the Polo Ralph bag is nice and i thought she's getting that for Ber.

Afterwhich, she hinted that she do not have much budget for my prezzie..nvm i thought cos she is already the best present i've gotten since year 1999..hahah

On X-Mas day itself, we cooked our own X-Mas dinner..(actu most of the job done by Ber and Fren..sponsored by Ber..)

After dinner, we continue with our drama- Il Ji Mae..Very nice show..i simply love Lee Jun Kee who acted Il Ji Mae in the show!!hahaha..

She was so excited that when the clock struck 12, she passed me the green x-mas sock and wished me Merry X-Mas!

Hahah..inside is actu a bottle of bird nest!! hahah...so cute!I really thought that's my X-Mas present my fren got for me tis yr..u know y??cos my fren has been planning for this surprise moment lo..

She started to tell me weeks/days before X-Mas that she has tight budget and that i seems not interested in the gifts she intends to get for me..

I know she has spent quite a fair bit for these few months, so i'm not surprised if she gt me jus the Bird Nest..at least she knew wat i like leh~

However after i opened the X-Mas socks, she proceeded to present me my actual present, the Polo Ralph bag..hee.

So happy!

The moment i got it, i thought to myself, oh my, why is the bag so heavy. Is there a need to put such heavy stuffings in the bag..

It took me at least 5-10mins before i realised what's hidden inside the bag..more and more Bird Nests bottles!!

As for New Year, we went shopping in orchard, had zi char, (BBQ Stingray, Black Pepper Crab, Soup, Chilli KangKong, Sotong YouTiao and created a blackie 'ELMO',hahah) count down in her car, and stayed over her place again..

today starts off as a pretty good day for me..
i cant believe i managed to sleep for full 5hrs last night when i'm on night shift!!
hahaha...
i know alot of pple sure envy..wahahaha...well, i did it, n i was feeling pretty alert, at least in a clear state of mind to do my role play test with Elyssa today..hehe. No stressed, glad i'm done with it..LOLx..

Took cab home and rested for 30mins before my fren reached my place. We went down EXPO today together.. i've been wanting to go there for quite some time.. That place sure brings back memories, esp times when i'm preparing for my SIM exams..orrhh..How times flies...

Saw alot of students sitting outside the exhibition halls waiting for their exams to start..the anxiety on their face.. Makes me so happy..hahah Not being psychotic, but just glad i'm way past that period..Wheww~

Newae,today is my MeiWen JieJie's 2nd paper.. fr the look of it, n of cos along with my strong hunch, she'll definately pass her paper.. No need to stress yourself actually gal..
If i can pass this paper, there's no way u'll fail manz..hahaha..

During the 3hours, me n fren went to Si Mei - East Point Mall to walk walk/explore..
Of cos we went to Pets Safari!! saw alot of doggies..so cute!! i can almost imagine how ah boi looks like when he was brought home from the farm in Pasir Ris 2 years back..
a pity i wasn't there..

Next we decided to go take a look at our new Terminal 3 after some grocery shopping at NTUC..hahaha..
Woah..that i one exciting place! Very big and spacious, very futuristic design, very nice place to be at.. got this urge to go there again for my next trip oversea..hee..
There's alot of shopping to be done there lor!!!! all should at least go there once during there free time to walk around manz..

Bought alot of goodies from Candy Empire and CocoaTree!!

I tink the service is bad, food is not worth for money...etc.
There's far more choices to choose from when you are at East Coast Park..

it's been ages since i last came in my very own 1st blog..haha.
actually i decided not to cont bloggin, cos i tink i'm a failure at it..

however before i went to BKK (24-27th Mar 08), i decided to post alot alot of pixs and cont my bloggin..but the sad thing is, i lost my Sony Ericsson W960i there..
i used only for 20 days..n it decided to leave me for gd..sigh.
u wun know how many pix i took at BKK!! 2oo near to 300 manz! Madness!!
a pity i cant share w u all..but it's all in my mind.. hee.*grin*

well, i guess all these is a sign telling me not to blog, not to blog..
